Fuvahmulah City Council
The Fuvahmulah' City Council is an independent and autonomous body that derives its legal authority from the Decentralisation Act (Law no. 7/2010) of the Maldives. Empowered to own property and to incur liabilities, the Council has devolved powers of self-governance and decision making, as well as financial autonomy. The council is responsible to plan and develop the city and ensure that the services required by the Decentralization Act are provided to the citizens of the Atoll.

Death Certificate Request
This service can be used to apply for certification confirming the passing of an individual. (މަރުފޯމް / ނިޔާވިކަމުގެ ލިއުން ހޯދުން)
Local Residency Registration
This service can be used to apply for registration as a resident in Gn. Fuvahmulah (ފުވައްމުލަކު ރަށްވެއްސަކަށް ވުމަށް އެދޭ ފޯމު).
Proof of Residency Request
This service can be used to apply for documentation proving that you are a resident of Gn. Fuvahmulah (ފުވައްމުލައް ސިޓީގައި ދިރިއުޅޭ ކަމުގެ ލިއުން ހޯދުމަށް).
Registry of Residence in Fuvahmulah
This service can be used to apply for registration, renewal, or change of a registered residence in Gn. Fuvahmulah (ރައްވެހީންގެ ރަޖިސްޓްރީގައި ހިމެނުމަށް އެދޭ ފޯމު)
Birth Certificate Registration
This service can be used to apply for services related to registering the birth certificate of an individual. (އުފަންވުން ރަޖިސްޓްރީކޮށް އުފަންދުވަހުގެ ސެޓްފިކެޓް، އުފަންދުވަހުގެ ރަޖިސްޓްރީ ހެއްދުން)
Permit to Conduct Events and Activities in Public Places
This service allows individuals or organisations to obtain a permit to conduct events and activities in public places.
Approval of land name
This service can be used to register a name for a property or building. The proposed name shouldn't contradict with Maldivian religion or culture.
Item Donation Approval
This service can be used to apply for approval for individuals or organisations to donate items to mosques.
Garage Permit for Vehicles
This service can be used to register four-wheeled and three-wheeled vehicles. (ގަރާޖު ހުއްދަ)
Permit to Enter Fuvamulah Harbour
This service can be used to request a permit to enter Fuvahmulah Harbour. Vessels can only approach the harbor with approval from the harbor officials. Vessels should leave the harbor once the purpose of entry is completed and before the expiration of the permit or if requested by harbor officials due to an emergency.
Permit to Conduct Religious Teachings
This service can be used to request a permit for religious lectures and offer religious teachings and to teach books related to religion in mosques.
Permit to Conduct Absentee Funeral Prayers
This service can be used to obtain permission to perform Islamically compliant absentee funeral services. Funeral prayers can be offered for those who passed away while traveling abroad.
Ownership change to private land
This service can be used to transfer the ownership of state-owned land to a citizen.
Construction of Shipyard permit
This service can be used to submit requests for authorisation to build shipyards. If the permit expires before the job is completed, a new application should be submitted five days in advance.
Boundary Demarcation Related Services
This service can be used to check the boundary of the land and to demarcate the boundary upon court decision

This service can be used to apply for new registrations, renewals, and changes to the existing registry of land and buildings.
