Grade 1
Includes all the tests specified in Article 1 of the Testing Regulation.
Grade 2
Includes construction material tests specified in Article 1 of the Testing Regulations under; Cement (3), (4), (14), (16), Concrete (1), (5), (6), (8), (9), (16), Iron (2), (3), (4), (9), Stone (4), (7), (9), (11), Sand (2), (11), (17), and Readymade blocks (3), (4).
Grade 3
Includes construction material tests specified in Article 1 of the Testing Regulations under; Cement (3), (4), (16), Concrete (1), (6), (8), (9), (16), Iron (2), (3), (4), Stone (4), (9), Sand (11), (17), and Readymade blocks (3), (4).
Grade 4
Includes construction material tests specified in Article 1 of the Testing Regulations under; Cement (3), Concrete (1), (16), Iron (2), (3), Stone (4), Sand (11), and Readymade blocks (3).
Grade 5
Includes construction material tests specified in Article 1 of the Testing Regulations under; Concrete (1) and Iron (2).

Educational certificates of professional or technical personnel
Detailed list of tests to be conducted at the laboratory
Goods and Services Tax (GST) registration certificate from Maldives Inland Revenue Authority (MIRA)
Calibration certificate of Machineries and Equipment
Standard and specification of Machineries and Equipment
Safety measures of Machineries and Equipment
If applying for a temporary registration;
Any document stating the type of construction work that the material is used for
Any document stating time period of construction work
After successful submission, a notification will be sent to your email and phone.
You can check the status of the request from the “My Applications” tab.
Once the application is processed, the material testing laboratory registration will be issued via email.
All duly completed applications will be processed within 10 business days.

Updated Test List to be conducted in Laboratory
If machinery and equipment list is updated;
Updated Calibration Certificate, Standard, Specification & Safety Measures Documents (Machineries & Equipment List)

All duly completed applications will be processed within 10 business days.
What are the actions that will be penalized?
If the submitted document or report is forged, the penalty will be a fine of MVR 50,000 and the suspension of the registration for up to 6 months. If the action is repeated more than once, the penalty will be a fine of MVR 100,000 and the registration will be terminated and can be registered after 6 months.
