Xpat Account Relation - Deactivation

To deactivate Xpat account relation, withdrawing authority of individuals or representatives in managing employer permits within the system.

Guide For Individual Account

Description

This service can be used to submit a request for an Xpat account relation deactivation. Deactivating a relation will remove the authority given to the individual or a representative to act on behalf of the employer to manage the employer permits within the Xpat system.

Before you start

Please ensure that the following service(s) are completed before proceeding with your application.

  • Company Xpat Account Relation Activation

Eligibility

  • The representative and the employer (or the represented party) should have a verified Efaas account.

  • Both parties (representative and the represented party) should have an approved and active Xpat account.

  • The applicant should be:

    • An employment agency, OR

    • A Maldivian employee of the employer, OR

    • A Maldivian Individual

How to apply

  • You can apply using an Efaas account.

  • Logging into your own account will direct you to the oneGov homepage.

Documents required 

  • Clear copy of valid national identity card (both sides, in colour) of both the representative and the party represented. If multiple individuals are representing an entity all identity cards of all individuals should be provided.

  • Self-declaration form:

    • If individual to individual: Self-declaration for appointing representative (individual)

    • Individual to employment agency: Self-declaration for appointing representative (agency)

    • Individual to employee: Self-declaration for appointing representative (employee)

After you apply

  • After successful submission a notification will be sent to your email and phone.

  • You can check the status of the request from the “My Applications” tab.

  • Once the application is approved, the status of the application will change to “Completed”, and the representative/s will no longer be able to transact on behalf of the party represented, within the Xpat system.

Estimated time frame

  • All duly completed applications will be processed within 3 business days.

  • If any additional verification is required, the application may take longer than the standard time frame.

    • A Maldivian Individual

How to apply

  • Special resolution passed by the respective entity stating the decision to appoint the representative/s.

  • Attested true copy of the registration certificate (if it is a political party/association/non-government organisation).

  • Once the application is approved, the status of the application will change to “Completed”, and the representative/s will no longer be able to transact on behalf of the party represented, within the Xpat system.
