Guide to Claim Deposit to Wallet

Description

This service can be used to request a deposit claim to the Xpat digital wallet.

Before you start

Please ensure that the following service(s) are completed before proceeding with your application.

  • Work Permit Cancellation request

Eligibility

  • The applicant should be the employer of the work permit holder.

  • The work permit should have been cancelled.

  • Employers will not be eligible for this service if the state is ‘cancelled (voluntary return)’, ‘cancelled (missing abscond)’, ‘cancelled (missing negligence)’ or if the work permit has been reported missing.

How to apply

  • You can apply using an Efaas account.

  • Logging into your own account will direct you to the oneGov homepage.

After you apply

  • After successful submission a notification will be sent to your email and phone. 

  • You can check the status of the request from the history tab.  

  • Once the application is approved the status will change to “Approved”.

  • Should the status of your application be changed to “Incomplete”, you will receive a notification along with the remarks via email and phone.

  • Once the application has been approved, the deposit amount will be deposited to the employers digital wallet.

Estimated time frame

  • All duly completed applications will be processed within 3 business days.

  • If any additional verification is required, the application may take longer than the standard time frame

Withdraw Deposit From Wallet

Description

This service can be used by employers to request for a change in the address of the existing worksite (only sites with “old address” site type). For all the other site types, if the address changes, a new site is required to be registered.

How to apply

  • You can apply using an Efaas account.

  • Logging into your own account will direct you to the oneGov homepage.

Documents required 

For Normal Cases:

  • Bank account verification documents

  • It should be an ATM deposit slip, a letter issued by the respective bank or a bank statement.

  • The document should mention the account number and account holder name.

  • The bank verification slip must have been issued within the last 6 months

For Special Cases:

If a company wants their deposits to be withdrawn to an account not registered under the company OR

If the company is dissolved/ in a liquidation process

  • Bank account verification documents

  • It should be an ATM deposit slip, a letter issued by the respective bank or a bank statement.

  • The document should mention the account number and account holder name.

  • The bank verification slip must have been issued within the last 6 months

  • If a company wants to withdraw money from the wallet to a bank account other than the companies own bank account, a notarized board resolution must be uploaded

  • notarized board resolution must mention the details of the bank, account number and account holder.

  • If the company is dissolved, deposit of the company can be refunded as per court order

If it's a sole proprietorship /individual and the owner has passed away:

  • Bank account verification documents

  • It must be an ATM deposit slip, a letter issued by the respective bank or a bank statement.

  • The document must mention the account number and account holder name.

  • Court Ghaziyya (count judgement document)

  • It should specify the details of the inheritor.

  • Deposits will be refunded to the inheritor only.

  • However, refund payment cannot be deposited to any atoll court. In such cases payment will be credited to department of Judicial Administration. 

  • If the employer has passed away, inheritors should create a relation with the deceased employer's account.

After you apply

  • After successful submission a notification will be sent to your email and phone. 

  • You can check the status of the request from the history tab.  

  • Once the application is approved the status will change to “Approved”.

  • Should the status of your application be changed to “Incomplete”, you will receive a notification along with the remarks via email and phone.

  • Once the application has been approved, the deposit amount will be deposited to the employer's digital wallet.

  • If any additional verification is required, the application may take longer than the standard time frame
