Work Permit Related Service Providers

Description

This service can be used to register as work permit insurance service providers.

Eligibility

• The applicant should be a registered insurance service provider.

• The insurance policy offered to work permit holder’s must align with the Expatriate Health Insurance Requirements published by the Ministry of Economic Development. 

How to apply

• You can apply using an Efaas account.

• Logging into your own account will direct you to the oneGov homepage.

Documents required 

• Work Permit Insurance Service Provider Registration Form

• Insurance Service Provider Registration Certificate from Maldives Monetary Authority

After you apply

• After successful submission a notification will be sent to your email and phone.

• You can check the status of the request from the “My Applications” tab.

• Once the application is approved, the status of the application will change to “Completed”, and the representative/s will be able to transact on behalf of the party represented, within the Xpat system.

Estimated time frame

• All duly completed applications will be processed within 3 business days.

Documents required 

• Health facility registration certificate

• Work permit medical investigation registration certificate

• Permit letter/certificate from Ministry of Health for work permit medical service.

After you apply

• After successful submission a notification will be sent to your email and phone.

• You can check the status of the request from the “My Applications” tab.

• Once the application is approved, the status of the application will change to “Completed”, and the representative/s will be able to transact on behalf of the party represented, within the Xpat system.
