Home-Based Food Producer

This service enables Home-Based Food Producers to self-regulate and be listed with the Maldives Food and Drug Authority (MFDA). You are required to submit all mandatory information, including details of the food production premises and a comprehensive product list, along with a binding self-declaration confirming compliance with MFDA food safety and hygiene standards. Upon successful verification and listing, each applicant will be assigned a unique listing number and issued a permit. The permit is subject to renewal every 3 years.
