Note: For each type of material to be imported from each manufacturer, a separate application form along with required documents need to be submitted for approval.
Should be registered under Certified Supplier category, grade 1 (SY01), of the Contractor Regulation.

Logging into your own account will direct you to the oneGov homepage.
Product specification documents provided by the manufacturer of the material. The specification document should specify the materials’ compliance to the specified standards in the Regulation.
Documents to validate the country of origin of the material.
Test reports/ certifications of the material (should not be older than 02 years from the date of testing). These test reports should specify that the importing materials are tested as per specified standards in the Regulation, and issued by the manufacturer or a registered third party.
Manufacturer’s licence provided by the relevant government authority (licence should specify that the manufacturer is permitted for the manufacturing of the importing material)
After successful submission, a notification will be sent to your email and phone.
You can check the status of the request from the “My Applications” tab.
Once the application is processed, the import material quality approval letter will be issued.
All duly completed applications will be processed within 5 business days.
How can I get a custom's registration?
On the Maldives Customs Service website, you can obtain a customs registration by visiting the Importer's Customs Portal.
What are the actions that will be penalized?
Any violations as specified on the Construction Material Import and Production Control Regulation (R-1017/2019) will be penalised.
