Acceptance Of Terms

By accessing and using oneGov's services, you acknowledge that you are bound by these terms and conditions. You agree to comply with these terms and acknowledge that your access to and use of oneGov's services are subject to our Privacy Policy, which is available on our website.

Account Creation and Management

To access our services, you must have an eFaas account as an authentication tool. 

Once signed in with eFaas for the first time, you agree to create a oneGov ID Account to use the services offered by oneGov.  This process of creating a oneGov ID will retrieve and utilise personally identifiable information from the Department of National Registration (DNR) to create your oneGov ID, which is unique to you. With a oneGov ID, you'll benefit from enhanced security, added convenience, and increased flexibility when applying for services through oneGov. oneGov will solely use your personal information to provide services and required support, with a strict focus on safeguarding your privacy. Within your oneGov ID account, you'll have the power to manage how oneGov services access and use your personal information. 

Users must be 18 years or older to use oneGov services. For those who are under 18 their parents or guardians must use oneGov on their behalf. 

Authorized Access and Application for Services

Only authorised persons are permitted to access, interact and apply for services on oneGov. An "authorised person" is defined as:

Any interaction or application for services by an unauthorised person will be deemed invalid and may be subject to penalties or restrictions as determined by oneGov.

Usage of oneGov Services

Your access to and use of oneGov services are subject to these terms, all applicable laws, regulations, and policies. 

Specifically, you may not:

Access or use our services if you are not legally competent to agree to these terms;

Use our services for unauthorized purposes such as commercial advertisements, solicitation, or spamming;

Disrupt our website or connected networks, or interfere with the services;

Bypass any measures we use to restrict or prevent access to the services;

Collect information through automated scripts or otherwise interact with the services for unsanctioned purposes;

Impersonate an individual or entity, or falsely represent your affiliation with any individual or business;

Use our services in a way that undermines its intended purpose or creates a conflict of interest.

Intellectual Property

By using oneGov services, you acknowledge that all related content, including but not limited to graphics, editorial content, audio and video clips, user interface, and software scripts, may contain proprietary information owned by us, our licensors, and third parties providing such content. This information is protected by all relevant intellectual property laws, including but not limited to copyright law. Except for the purpose of utilising the services in accordance with this agreement, you agree not to use or attempt to use such proprietary materials or information in any way.

Making Payments

Some of our services may require you to make payments. Our payments are processed through Bandeyri Payment Gateway.  You agree to comply with the terms and conditions of the applicable payment provider. Please note that oneGov does not store your payment transaction information. All payment processing is handled by the relevant third-party payment processors.

Making a Complaint

If you have a complaint or concern about the services provided by oneGov, we encourage you to first contact our Customer Support team through the channels provided in the Contact Information section. We take all complaints seriously and will make every effort to resolve your issue(s) in a timely and satisfactory manner.

If our Customer Support team is unable to resolve your complaint, you may escalate it by following the complaint procedure outlined on our website.

Changes to the Terms

oneGov reserves the right to update or change these Terms and Conditions at any time. Your continued use of our services after such updates constitute your acceptance of the new terms.

If you do not agree with any of these Terms and Conditions or any future changes, your sole recourse is to discontinue using our services.

Governing Law

This agreement and any disputes or claims arising out of or in connection with its subject matter or formation are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Maldives.
